Community banks and credit unions are stuck on legacy core-banking systems that are expensive to run and slow to change. KOR's founder, Art Muthiora, spent over a decade in financial services watching them struggle to modernise. His idea: instead of a years-long migration, let each institution spin off its own branded fintech on a cloud-native core.

The problem

To win Millennials and Gen Z, these institutions needed a digital experience that felt like a modern fintech app, not a bolted-on online-banking portal.

What I built

I designed and built KOR's customer-facing interface:

• Onboarding. A guided sign-up flow designed to minimise drop-off.
• Everyday banking. Balances, transactions, transfers and account management in a clean, mobile-first interface.
• White-label theming. Each institution carries its own brand.

The result

KOR gained a polished, intuitive customer experience to put in front of partner institutions: a credible fintech front end on top of its cloud core.
